Summary: 
  • The Inventory Control Coordinator supports warehouse operations by managing receiving, staging, inventory control, and outbound shipping of temperature-controlled medical products.
  • This role ensures accurate material handling, cold-chain integrity, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. 
Responsibilities 
 
Receiving 
  • Receive raw materials, components, and inbound products 
  • Verify quantities, lot numbers, and required documentation 
  • Perform system transactions for receiving and put-away 
  • Identify discrepancies and escalate issues as needed 
Outbound Shipping 
  • Pick and stage orders using FIFO/FEFO principles 
  • Pack domestic and international shipments 
  • Prepare cold-chain shipments using insulated packaging, dry ice, and gel packs 
  • Generate shipping documentation and coordinate carrier pickups 
Inventory Control 
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory location audits 
  • Support inventory reconciliation and system updates 
  • Remove expired or damaged materials from storage locations 
  • Maintain lot control and product traceability per standard procedures 
Cold-Chain & Regulated Material Handling 
  • Work in cold rooms (2–8°C) and freezers (-20°C) 
  • Handle temperature-sensitive and time-critical products 
  • Safely handle dry ice and cold-chain packaging materials 
  • Handle regulated and hazardous materials according to established procedures 
Equipment Operation 
  • Operate warehouse equipment as required, including forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and cold-room handling tools 
Required Skills 
  • Warehouse or material handling experience 
  • Ability to work in cold storage environments 
  • Basic computer and system navigation skills 
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow SOPs and written instructions 
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
