Job description

Connect Staffing is hiring an Inventory Control Coordinator for a manufacturing plant in Cypress, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $21.50/hr. In this role, you will perform cycle counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies in an ERP system, and pick and kit accessory and assembly order inventory on the production floor. This is a long-term placement with a strong benefits package available upon hire.

Responsibilities
  • Perform systematic cycle counts and physical inventory verification in the ERP system to ensure daily count accuracy.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and process low-level quantity adjustments in the ERP system.
  • Pick and kit accessory inventory and register assembly orders in and out of the ERP system.
  • Execute inventory movements in the ERP system for reconciliation and planning purposes.
  • Report daily inventory metrics and flag discrepancies related to theft, loss, or damage.
  • Support the quality team with material review board inventory movements and reporting.

Minimum Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience performing cycle counts or physical inventory audits in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
  • Familiarity with transfer orders, assembly orders, or kitting workflows.
  • Proficiency in Excel for building and maintaining inventory spreadsheets and reports.
  • Experience providing backup support for shipping and receiving functions.
  • Basic analytical and math skills applied to inventory reconciliation tasks.
  • Ability to use enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, warehouse management system (WMS) (Warehouse Management System), and Excel to update counts and compile reports.
