Position Summary: The Warehouse Inventory Specialist supports warehouse operations by receiving, tracking, organizing, and distributing IT equipment and related materials. This role helps ensure accurate inventory management and timely shipment of equipment to program locations while maintaining compliance with established procedures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments of IT equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs and electronic inventory systems.
  • Organize and manage storage locations within the warehouse.
  • Pull, stage, and prepare IT equipment for scheduled shipments.
  • Complete shipping documentation and coordinate deliveries with vendors and site contacts.
  • Track outgoing shipments and maintain records of equipment transfers.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and reconciliation of inventory databases.
  • Support equipment disposal and data sanitization processes in accordance with program guidelines.
  • Provide general warehouse and logistics support as needed.

Basic Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and perform data entry.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment in a warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting government or government-contracted programs.
