Job description

Objective:
The Warehouse Lead's primary function is to oversee 2nd shift warehouse activities. accountable for inventory.
Accountabilities:
  • Oversee the loading of route and transport trucks.
  • Work closely with management and provide backup assistance where needed.
  • Be a knowledgeable resource for employees to rely on.
  • Responsible for the scheduling and execution of cycle counts daily.
  • Assist with month-end inventory.
  • Cross train on dispatching and order entry.
  • Accepts additional responsibilities as assigned to ensure the optimal overall operation of the company.
  • Responsible for making sure the plant is locked and secure every night.

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of inventory experience preferably in a warehouse setting
  • Warehouse management system (WMS) experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent planning, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Passionate self-starter who can work independently and can also be a team player.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree is a plus.
