Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse/Inside Sales Associate to support daily operations in our warehouse and showroom. This role involves receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks, and assisting customers. Key Responsibilities
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or shipment
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas and showroom
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle audits
• Receive and enter orders, resolve challenges, track orders and shipment status, process returns
• Provide assistance to walk-in and telephone customers with sales and product questions
• Follow safety procedures and report any hazards or incidents
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
The ideal candidate will possess:
• the ability to load and unload materials on/off delivery trucks; ability to receive materials in the warehouse
• ability to ensure that inventory is properly labeled and accurately stored
• ability to pick and stage customer orders
• sales experience
• cash handling experience
• excellent customer service abilities
• ability to lift 80 lbs. on a regular basis
• basic computer/order entry skills
