Reporting to the Supervisor - Logistics, the Kitter will ensure that the supply of materialsย meetย the production schedule and minimum stock levels to ensure operational and production continuity. Ability to deliver efficient,ย effectiveย and flexible solutions to meet production requirements. Other duties includeย 

Shiftsย ย 
Must have flexibility to work rotating shifts to accommodate production schedule, including days, afternoons,ย nightsย and overtime asย required.ย

Responsibilitiesย 

  • Open bales,ย cratesย and other containers to put away inventory correctly on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards in the warehouse.ย 

  • Prepare pertinent documentation and material (utilizingย hand scanners and or computer) for shippingย in a timely mannerย to meet delivery schedules for the production teamย ย 

  • Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed.ย ย 

  • Assistย in counting of physical inventoryย 

  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, andย work stationsย neatย 

  • Sweep, dust, mop and always organize warehouse and work area for orderlinessย ย 

  • Wear prescribed safety equipmentย ย 

  • Prepare parts picked to be delivered to productionย 

  • Perform other duties asย requested,ย directedย or assignedย 

Physical Working Demands and Working Conditionsย 
Must be physically fit, energetic, agile,ย willingย and able to:ย 

  • Lift up to 40lbsย 

  • Stand/walk for full shift hours asย requiredย 

  • Bend required to different shelf levels to lift a variety ofย aircraftย and other parts asย requiredย 

  • Push/pull of a variety of items including packed carts ofย aircraftย parts and others asย requiredย
