Summary

The person in this position is primarily responsible for the complete management of all company and project-specific inventories. They also contribute to the smooth execution of material shipments for various departments and play a key role in meeting deadlines and ensuring delivery quality.
Tasks

  • Ensure accurate management of internal and external inventories, including required system adjustments;
  • Perform weekly cycle counts and the annual inventory, in collaboration with the Finance department during audits;
  • Receive goods, including verification of quantities and documentation accuracy;
  • Pick, prepare, and deliver parts for production lines, projects, and customer shipments;
  • Receive and process shipping requests, ensuring completeness and accuracy of information;
  • Validate delivery requirements with internal and external customers and follow up on shipment dates;
  • Track borrowed parts, missing parts, and returns;
  • Manage obsolete inventory in accordance with established principles (e.g., FIFO) and perform required inventory transfers;
  • Open, process, and follow up on purchase orders, NCRs, and related inventory movements;
  • Participate in the management of hazardous materials in compliance with applicable procedures and standards;
  • Provide logistical support to other sites, as needed;
  • Contribute to sample management;
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the department;
  • Perform any other related tasks associated with warehouse operations.
