Job description

Job Title:                     Inventory Analyst
Work Location:            Dubuque, IA 52001
Duration:                     12 Months contract with possible extension
Shift:                            1st Shift – Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Hours:                         40 hours/week | OT offered (0–5 hours/week)

Description:
• Perform inventory audits and related transactions to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Prepare inventory reports and compile audit requirements.
• Monitor manufacturing and material processes, including RGA, cycle counting, and excess material disposition.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies and participate in factory improvement teams.
• Perform root-cause analysis and corrective actions for inventory issues.
• Conduct daily, monthly, and annual inventory audits, including engine and financial accuracy audits.
• Prepare and review perpetual inventory reports.
• Print cycle counts, work with inventory counters, enter results into SAP, and close completed counts.
• Provide coaching and work direction to less-experienced personnel.
• Approximately 50% of the work is performed on the manufacturing floor to verify inventory counts.

Required Skills:
• Strong SAP experience preferred; experience with other ERP systems may be considered.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Manufacturing inventory experience.
• Experience with cycle counting and inventory audits.
• Root-cause analysis and corrective action experience.
• Administrative and data-entry experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Education:
• Degree preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED with 1+ year of manufacturing inventory experience may be considered.
