Job description

We are looking for a full time dockworker for our Las Vegas location.
JOB SUMMARY
AM Inbound and Outbound Warehouse Operations and Distribution.
Pay commensurate with experience level.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
โ€ข Unload, load sort and stage freight efficiently and accurately. Includes hand unloading/ stacking.
โ€ข Dock administrative duties, including, but not limited to labeling, scanning, filing, and attaching paperwork to shipment loads.
โ€ข Assist dispatch in reviewing, approving, and processing or directing driver visits.
โ€ข Safely and efficiently operate lift equipment, palletjack.
โ€ข Maintain, record and complete required Logs and checklists regarding but not limited to inventory, arrivals, departures.
โ€ข Process all cargo DIM, and re-weigh.
โ€ข Ensure freight is properly secured, strapped, packaged according to its requirements.
โ€ข Maintain efficiency when loading/ stacking freight. Freight may be palletized or unpalletized.
โ€ข Adhere to company policies and procedures.
โ€ข Effectively communicate any potential and current issues to ensure safety and quality.
โ€ข Inspect freight for OSD, document with images. Report, when necessary and accurately notate damage.
โ€ข Compare BOL, Manifest and other supporting documentation to ensure freight count, correct delivery, or floor location.
โ€ข Maintain warehouse cleanliness.
โ€ข Maintain organization, as volume and business vary.
โ€ข Effectively work as a team-player to ensure PM shift is set up for success.
COMPETENCIES
โ€ข Must have at least one year of verifiable LTL experience in the trucking/ logistics industry, with good attendance.
โ€ข FL License and experience preferred, but training offered.
โ€ข Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, unassisted.
โ€ข Ability to stand, lift, squat for extended period of time- Requires good physical condition.
โ€ข Ability to follow verbal and written direction.
