Job description

The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a seasonal Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will assist management in carrying out daily operations of the commissary and warehouse department.

Pay $18.00 - $20.00 / hour

What will you do?
  • Supervise commissary team, including assigning duties, training, coaching, and counseling
  • Ensure proper stock of food and beverage products
  • Oversee inventory control, including receiving shipments, disposing of outdated material, cycle counting
  • Ensure food and beverage products are delivered in a timely manner
  • Oversee the proper closing of assigned area
  • Enforce company policies and safety regulations
  • Initiate and organize procedures to set standards for the warehouse
More about you
  • Minimum 6 months food and beverage commissary or related experience required
  • Ability to delegate and coach others
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read and interpret deliveries and purchases
  • No college degree required
Physical requirements
  • Ability to lift and push 50 pounds
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching, during the entire length of shift
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment where temperatures may range from cold to hot depending on the season
