Warehouse Receiver West Valley, UT

What You’ll Do:

You’ll be a key player in our warehouse team, helping to move, manage products efficiently and safely. You’ll work in a fast-paced, multi-temperature environment, focused on accuracy, teamwork, and safety. Your efforts keep our supply chain flowing smoothly — from receiving goods, staging inventory, to shipping orders out on time.

In This Role You’ll:

All Associates:

  • Safely operate material handling equipment: Reach forklifts (certification required, QCD can certify you)
  • Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards
  • Use warehouse technology (RF Scanners, Vo Collect Headset, and Warehouse Management System) to track orders and inventory
  • Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols

Receiver Specific:

  • Safely operate a stand-up forklift and electric pallet jack in temperature-controlled environment
  • Perform product rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) standards and document code dates.
  • Maintain correct slot locations, consolidate pallets, and correct any mis-stocks.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized following company safety and sanitation standards.
  • Complete other Warehouse duties as assigned.

 

What You’ll Bring:

All Associates:

  • Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
  • Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Experience with warehouse management systems, electric pallet jack and (Vo Collect headset) preferred
  • Licensed forklift operator with at least 6 months of safe equipment operation.
  • Ability to perform accurate inspections and follow documentation.
  • Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs) and carrying throughout shift.
  • Basic math and reading skills required.

 

Schedule & Setting:

  • Full-time, on-site in a temperature-controlled warehouse (dry, cooler, and freezer: -5 °F to 38 °F)
  • Primarily a 4-day work week, 6 AM - 2:30PM; Monday – Tuesday & Thursday -Friday scheduled days
  • Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50-lbs and standing/walking for extended periods
