Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Wire Cutter to join our client’s manufacturing team in Plainfield, IN. This hands-on position is responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, and preparing wire and components to support production operations. The ideal candidate has previous manufacturing or industrial experience, enjoys working with hand tools, and takes pride in producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and prepare wire and related components according to production specifications.
  • Operate hand tools and basic production equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect finished materials to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
  • Read and follow work instructions, production schedules, and manufacturing specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous industrial or manufacturing experience required.
  • Fabrication experience is strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable using hand tools and working with wire and small components.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
