Job description

This position is 7 AM -  4 PM Monday - Friday

Consolidated Electrical Distributors (www.cedindianapolis.com/careers/) is looking to add a warehouse associate to our growing team in our Indianapolis,IN location.

Position Summary

  • Warehouse Associate - Wire Cutter is responsible for, but not limited to the follwoing:
    • Cutting to length customer cable orders
    • Paralleling cable on metal reels or wooden reels
    • Hanging wire in to replenish inventory
    • Warehousing over stock wire
    • Installing pulling heads
  • This position reports to the Wire Center Manager and works in a team with other warehouse associates.
  • Hours are 11 AM - 8 PM

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • Driver's License required
  • 5+ years experience in warehousing, material management, or logistics industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Fulfilling customer orders in the wire room
  • Creating shipping labels and documents orders are processed
  • Communication with warehouse team in regards to stocking material and pulling orders
  • Communicate with customers on shipments and material in our possession
