Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Occasional overtime available.
Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload trucks; receive product verifying accuracy, picking and packing product and putting product away in an appropriate manner

  • Safely operate various warehouse equipment to pull and prepare outbound customer orders

  • Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders

  • Maintain good housekeeping of pipe yard and warehouse

  • Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Effectively put items away and receive them in WMS (Warehouse Management System)

Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience working in warehouse environments is required

  • Knowledge of PVF (pipe, valves, fittings, cutting, threading, grooving, etc.) is preferred

  • Forklift certification is preferred

  • Combilift experience is preferred

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.; push/pull a cart weighing more than this

  • Computer experience and ability to perform basic math problems required; knowledge of an order entry system (JDE/Oracle) a plus

  • Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.

  • Ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required

  • Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic

  • Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly

Pay Range:
$17.41 - $26.11
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
