Warehouse Team Member

As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role that directly impacts the success of Chick-fil-A restaurants. Duties include unloading, picking and loading product at the Chick-fil-A Supply Mebane Distribution Center. Chick-fil-A Supply strives to be the most caring distribution center in the world with scheduling, pay and benefits that demonstrate care for our team members.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday from 7 AM - 5:30 PM until the work is done:

  • 4 Day Workweek (4 10-hour days)
  • The schedule will be assigned according to business needs, and flexibility is needed during weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts

As a Warehouse Associate, you are a key driver in the efficiency, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse.

  • Efficiency and Organization: You'll be on your feet, actively engaging with unloading, staging, picking and loading products.
  • Safety First: Safely operating machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks and keeping our warehouse clean and safe.

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

  • Extreme Temperature: Working in rotation through extreme temperatures (–10F to 100F) is required to keep our food safe!
  • Heavy Weights: Reach, bend, and stoop while lifting up to 65 pounds per case during most of your shift. Occasionally you will use mechanical assistance to move up to 2,000 pounds.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking): to safely follow verbal instructions, complete documentation and paperwork, and accurately interpret labels, pick lists, scanner prompts, signage, and company communications

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

  • Working in a warehouse and/or material handling is preferred but not required, and previous work in food distribution is a plus
