Job description

Position: Warehouse & Inventory Specialist

Location: Applegate warehouse - 15310 Hwy 238, Grants Pass, Or 97502

Who we are: The Nectar family is a diverse group of hard-working and talented individuals, who are brought together by our passion for cannabis, and our absolute commitment to providing excellent service and products to our community.

Who you are: A collaborative go-getter with demonstrated success in a role that involves communication and multi-tasking. Someone with an innate understanding of people and a drive to constantly improve. A true collaborator with integrity and a desire to work in a very dynamic and constantly evolving environment – who enjoys problem-solving under pressure and building things that last.

About the role: We are looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse & Inventory Specialist to join our Southern Oregon warehouse team. In this role, you will process packaging, manage both cannabis and non-cannabis inventory in our inventory tracking systems, and support product testing workflows from sample reporting through final packaging. You will play a key part in keeping tested materials moving — accurately packaged, sorted, and staged as packaging backstock for use by the packaging department. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming and outgoing packaging materials, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely turnaround.
  • Manage warehouse inventory for both cannabis and non-cannabis products, maintaining accurate counts and records in inventory tracking systems, including Metrc.
  • Perform regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations; investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Handle testing workflows as they pertain to reporting — coordinate test samples, track testing status, and ensure results are properly recorded and documented.
  • Package and sort tested materials appropriately for packaging backstock to be used by the packaging department.
  • Stage, label, and organize backstock so the packaging department has accurate, ready-to-use materials.
  • Receive, inspect, and put away deliveries; keep storage areas clean, organized, and compliant.
  • Maintain compliance with OLCC regulations and company SOPs for cannabis handling, tracking, and storage.
  • Generate and maintain reports using Excel and Office 365; communicate inventory and testing status to management and the packaging team.
  • Support general warehouse duties as assigned, including weekend work when necessary.

Compensation:
  • The entry-level starting rate is $22.00-$30.00/hour, depending on level of experience.

Benefits:
  • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance after 60-days (Cigna).
  • Paid Time Off (40 hours in first year of employment).
  • Paid Birthday Off + Time and a half on federal holidays.
  • FSA and Retirement Savings Account.
  • EAP (Employee Assistance Program).
  • 30% off Employee Discount at all of our retail locations.
  • Tuition Reimbursement.
  • Wellness Reimbursement.
  • Green Commute Travel Reimbursement.

Qualifications:
  • Metrc experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Teams/SharePoint).
  • Prior warehouse, inventory, or cannabis industry experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to manage multiple workflows and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must hold or be able to obtain a valid OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit prior to start date.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

Work Environment:
  • Office, production facilities, and agriculture settings. Providing excellent support both remotely and through on-site visits across the organization for installations and troubleshooting.
  • We are open 365 days a year from 7 am to 10 pm, which means the staff working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, with weekend availability when necessary.
