Job description

Summary: The Inventory Specialist is responsible for executing and overseeing the cycle counting process to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our product. Primary focus will be on conducting regular, systematic counts of inventory items, maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory, identifying discrepancies and implementing efficient inventory control procedures.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday from 07:00 AM to 04:30 PM, 2 Saturday(s) a month from 08:00 AM to 01:00 PM
Seniority Level: Associate
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $20 to $23 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $51,400 and $58,800 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents, gather and maintain all data relative to shipping activities
  • Conducting and managing the physical inventory process of all products.
  • Monitor and/or conduct physical Inventory counts, analyze variances and reconcile discrepancies. Determine the inventory difference and implement applicable appropriate corrective actions.
  • Conducting cycle counting and must be comfortable completing it on a daily basis.
  • Operate equipment such as forklift, overhead crane, pallet jacks and more safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as required and or requested.

Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:
  • High School Education or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of inventory experience required
  • 1-2 years of Warehouse experience
  • One (1) year of experience operating a Forklift
  • Ability to use a computer or tablet a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure
