Job description

Summary

Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory control, timely order fulfillment, and efficient workflow. This role serves as the main point of contact for warehouse staff, suppliers, and internal departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and products. 
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
  • Coordinate shipments, deliveries, and order fulfillment to meet production or customer schedules.
  • Assign tasks and provide guidance to warehouse staff to optimize workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
  • Communicate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to coordinate material flow.
  • Prepare reports on inventory levels, shipments, and warehouse performance metrics.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • May operate pallet jack and/or forklift to move materials.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma and 0-1 year of related experience preferred; must  be forklift certified.

Computer Skills 

Basic computer skills.

Physical Demands

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate warehouse equipment safely; Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting; comfortable working in a warehouse environment with noise, temperature variations, and moving equipment.
