Profound is the marketing platform for the age of AI search. The way brands reach people is being rewritten - AI models like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Mode are now the answer layer between companies and their customers. We built the platform marketers use to understand, measure, and win in that world: the analytics, intelligence, and agent automation that turn AI search from a threat into a competitive advantage.
We went from 0 to a $1B valuation in 18 months. Revenue grew 100x last year. Our customers include 15% of the Fortune 500 like Walmart, Wayfair and U.S. Bank, and innovators like Ramp, MongoDB, and Figma. We are backed by Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, LSVP, and Khosla Ventures - and we are moving fast enough that the people joining now are building the playbook everyone who comes after them will run.
Design is foundational to our product and our company. As a Web Designer at Profound, you'll shape how the world experiences our brand online, from our marketing site to campaign landing pages to the surfaces where product meets story. You'll work closely with front-end engineers, design engineers, and the brand team to turn ideas into shipped, high-craft web experiences, with deep ownership over how Profound looks and feels on the web.
What you'll do
  • Design and ship marketing pages, landing pages, and campaign sites that reflect Profound's dark, editorial, precise brand
  • Partner closely with front-end and design engineers to take work from concept to production, staying involved through build, QA, and launch
  • Design with real components and constraints in mind, working within (and helping evolve) our web design system
  • Prototype interactions and page-level motion, handing off specs and details that hold up in code
  • Own web design end to end for key initiatives, from homepage updates to launch pages for new product features
  • Collaborate with brand and product marketing to translate briefs into high-conversion, on-brand web experiences
  • Continuously audit and refine our existing site for craft and consistency
  • Occasionally extend into email, social, and event assets when the work connects to a web campaign

Who you are
  • You work with full autonomy and can take a brief and own it end to end, from concept to shipped page, without hand-holding
  • You have real command of web design fundamentals: layout, type, grid, hierarchy, and how they translate into code
  • You have a portfolio that shows a high bar for craft on real, shipped websites
  • You're fluent in Figma and AI tools, comfortable working close to the metal with front-end and design engineers; bonus for hands-on HTML/CSS or experience in a component-based design system
  • You sweat the finish (typography, spacing, rhythm, and consistency) and know what separates a good page from a great one
  • You move fast and reliably deliver high-quality work on short timelines without sacrificing craft
  • You're a versatile generalist, equally comfortable on a marketing landing page and a product-adjacent surface
  • You like to experiment and build with AI and new tools to work faster and push your craft further
  • You're a strong communicator who can articulate creative decisions and incorporate feedback to continuously improve the work
  • You can just do things

Note from our co-founder
In the evolving landscape of product development, exceptional design is not merely a nice-to-have, it is foundational. As software engineering becomes increasingly accessible, it is taste, creativity, and thoughtful execution that differentiate outstanding products from the rest.
I believe deeply that design sits at the core of our success. At Profound, my goal is to build a design team renowned for setting a new standard of excellence, crafting experiences so compelling they become benchmarks in our industry.
If you are someone who believes in the transformative power of great design and wants to create work that genuinely shapes the future, join us. Let's redefine what's possible together.
Dylan Babbs, Co-founder & CTO
Location
This is an on-site role based in our Buenos Aires or NYC office, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact. NYC comp range for this role will be: $165 - $190k.
Comp varies by location. Profound's total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks.
