Job description

Senior Brand Manager - Beauty

ABOUT NEATO

Neato is a 2P eCommerce accelerator based in Las Vegas. We buy inventory from established brands and operate as their exclusive online retailer across every major channel — Amazon, TikTok Shop, DTC, and Walmart — all fulfilled from a single inventory pool. Unlike agencies that get paid whether you grow or not, we make money when we sell your product. When we don't, we eat it. Every decision we make is backed by our own capital.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Brand Manager owns the profit and loss of a beauty portfolio inside that model. You are the one person accountable for contribution margin — the number that says whether the brand is worth Neato's capital every week. You set the price, protect the buy box, keep the shelves in stock, run the promotional calendar, chase the reimbursements, and answer for the result.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN
  • Availability — in-stock rate on every ASIN, every day. You set the reorder cadence with Supply Chain and own stockouts before they happen.
  • Price & margin — every price on every channel. Buy box protection. MAP enforcement. Margin defense when algorithms move against you.
  • Merchandising, assortment, conversion — detail pages, A+ content, video, imagery, reviews, variations. Anything a shopper sees is your surface.
  • Profit recovery — billbacks, reimbursements, chargebacks, shortage claims. Money left on the table is money you're accountable for.
  • Marketplace control — unauthorized sellers, MAP violators, counterfeits. You quarterback the enforcement plan with Legal and the brand.
  • Demand generation — ad strategy, Vine, PPC, DSP, external traffic. You set the plan; the Ads team executes; you own the ROAS.
  • Promotion & subscription — promo calendar, deal cadence, Subscribe & Save base growth. Every promo has a P&L before it runs.
  • Brand partnership — you are the face Neato shows the brand. Weekly reviews, quarterly strategy, joint planning. When the brand escalates, they call you first.
HOW SUCCESS IS MEASURED
  • Portfolio contribution margin — trend and absolute.
  • In-stock rate — across the assortment.
  • Buy box ownership rate — on 1P and 3P.
  • Subscribe & Save base growth — month over month.
  • Reimbursement dollars recovered — against opportunity.
  • Brand partner NPS — they renew or they don't.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 7–10+ years operating a beauty CPG brand's P&L — direct Amazon 1P and 3P operating experience, not agency-adjacent.
  • Weekly numbers cadence — you read the P&L to peers every week without notes.
  • Reimbursement fluency — you know what Amazon owes you and how to collect it.
  • MAP enforcement experience — across marketplaces.
  • Contribution-margin literacy — you can defend a promo or a price change to a CFO.
  • Bias to action — over meetings and decks.
NICE TO HAVE
  • TikTok Shop, DTC, Walmart — hands-on experience, or fast to learn.
WHY YOU'LL WANT THIS

This is a true P&L seat, not a coordination role — you set price, own the promo calendar, and answer directly for contribution margin, with performance-linked upside tied to the result. You partner daily with Supply Chain, Creative, Ads, and Finance, and you're the person the brand calls first when it matters.

Neato · 2026 · Equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
