A typical day for a Walmart Nurse Practitioner involves independently providing care to walk-in patients for minor illnesses, preventive screenings, immunizations, and wellness services. You’ll review patient histories, conduct examinations, interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and offer health education, often using Walmart’s proprietary electronic health record systems. Collaboration with pharmacy staff and occasional communication with primary care providers are also part of the role.
