Job Summary
We are seeking a Framer to join our team! As a Framer, you will be reading blueprints or building plans and constructing the framework specified using a variety of tools and materials. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe job site, maintaining the tools and equipment you use every day, and following standard safety protocols. The ideal candidate has experience in construction, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment. 
Responsibilities 
  • Examine, read, and interpret blueprints and building plans to ensure all dimensions are accurate and the proper building materials are being used
  • Ability to safely operate construction tools like nail guns, routers, saws, and ladders
  • Construct framework including walls, doorframes, and floors
  • Utilize tools such as rigging hardware and cranes to put up the necessary framing
  • Clean and maintain tools, work site, and equipment to keep a clean and safe job site
Qualifications
  • The ability to work well in a team environment
  • The ability to read and understand blueprints or building plans
  • Previous experience as a framer or in a similar construction position desired
  • The ability to work on your feet and regularly lift heavy or awkward objects
  • Strong attention to detail
