Counter Parts Sales - Decatur, Illinois

Wage: Hourly wage starts at $20.00 with final compensation determined by an individual's skills, certifications, education, and years of experience.

Work Schedule: Operations run 7 days a week from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Team members work a rotating schedule to ensure balanced coverage.

Shifts include weekends and holidays, so flexibility is key.

  • Keeping the parts counter clean, organized, and customer-ready
  • Upselling related products and promoting specials through calls, emails, and follow-ups

What We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of experience in automotive or industrial parts sales
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude
  • Positive, can-do mindset and a strong team spirit
  • Comfortable using computers and processing transactions
  • Sharp attention to detail with solid problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements

This is an active role for someone who likes to stay moving:

  • Hands-on work handling, reaching, and organizing parts
  • Regular walking, standing, climbing, kneeling, bending, and lifting
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
  • Lifting requirements:
    • Regularly lift up to 25 lbs.
