Starting at $20 per hour + tips!
Join the team at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® as a mover or driver and discover the opportunities for career fulfillment and advancement! Our team lives out the core value of “be your best and have fun” on a daily basis, and we’re looking for customer-service oriented individuals to contribute to our great team environment. No prior driving or moving experience required. Bring a great attitude, and we’ll teach you everything needed to be successful!
Responsibilities
  • Provide top notch customer service as a driver / laborer as you safely move, pack and unpack customer belongings
  • Safely, responsibly, and professionally operate the moving truck and monitor it’s functionality; ensure vehicle is in safe operating order prior to dispatching for the day
  • Greet customers upon arrival as a driver / laborer and complete a walk-through of the premises
  • Communicate professionally in English, both verbally and in writing; comfortably interface with customers
  • Accurately calculate charges for services and complete all move-related paperwork
  • Conduct truck inspections and moving equipment inventory
  • All other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 21 years or older due to insurance restrictions
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required; chauffeurs license preferred
  • No driving experience required; we will train!
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to listen and communicate in an effective, helpful and friendly manner with co-workers, customers and management
  • Stamina to lift heavy items (100 lbs. or more) repeatedly while climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc.
  • Strong logic and mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using whole numbers and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of dollars, weight measurement, volume, distance and time)
  • Experience in the fields of general labor, landscaping, construction or warehouse helpful
  • 2 years of prior driving experience necessary per insurance requirements
