Job description

We are looking for an experienced FORKLIFT OPERATOR to join our Lithia Springs, GA plant. This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, with overtime as needed. We offer competitive benefits and salary, plus up to $1.00/hr increase after 90 days. You will be responsible for ensuring our customers' satisfaction by shipping and/or receiving products timely and accurately. You will also work closely with all departments in the facility, including Production, Maintenance, and more. Our Forklift Operators are not sitting on a lift throughout the shift - There is frequent movement which includes lifting. You will work in a team environment with an opportunity to advance in your career with Custom Building Products.

About the Role
Responsibilities:
  • Use forklift or walkie rider to pick, ship and/or receiving products timely
  • Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work environment
  • Retrieve or put away material using a sit-down industrial forklift.
  • Ensure that all finished product meets quality standard.
  • Ready and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
