Job description

Overview
Oversees continuity and maintenance of services throughout the WakeMed system; Clinical Administrators provide coverage on all campuses. WakeMed Raleigh Campus is a tertiary healthcare organization and level one trauma center with 567 licensed acute care beds and 103 licensed Rehab beds; virtual oversight is provided for Garner Healthplex. Wake Med Cary Campus accommodates 218 acute licensed acute care beds; virtual oversight is provided for Apex Healthplex. WakeMed North Hospital accommodates 61 acute care beds; virtual oversight is provided for Brier Creek Healthplex. Acts as the chief administrative person on site after normal business hours and is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to assist with day to day capacity issues. Responsible for problem identification and solution through accessing the appropriate resources. Understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of patient care services.National Certification in Nursing Required Within 1 Year of Hire
