Job description

Part-time Culinary Aide
Culinary Aide Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serve food properly & at the correct temperature
  • Return plates to the kitchen
  • Offer substitute items when residents decline a menu item
  • Return meal trays from rooms back to the kitchen
  • Pour coffee & beverages for residents in the dining room
  • Wash and sanitize dishware and utensils
  • Clean dining room after meals (sanitize tabletops, wipe down chairs, vacuum, clean salt and pepper shakers, sugar dish, etc.)
  • Put away cleaned dishes
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors (after each meal)
  • Must be able to work every other weekend and rotating holidays
