Web Hosting Administrator

On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a Web Hosting Administrator for a contract opportunity in Tempe, AZ.

Web Hosting Administrator Job Details

Maintain operational readiness of the middleware infrastructure in a 24x7 environment.
Provide level 3 and 4 support (occasionally outside of business hours) for middleware environment.
Contribute to project team efforts to ensure operational support requirements are implemented.
Assist in design and ensure middleware instances and related projects meet operational requirements.
Maintain a proactive view on the performance of the middleware platforms.
Conduct performance analysis and tune application to increase performance. 
Respond to application outages. 
Maintain version, patch and security levels, in accordance with the strategic direction of the company. 
Communicate technical and non-technical information to technical support groups, customer support centers, and end-users as required.
Document procedures, policies, and how-to documents to increase efficiency and meet the needs of the business.
Execute change management processes in accordance with company standards.
Ability to support 24/7 environment; including working off-shift hours (nights and weekends); on-call rotation, etc.
Experience scheduling 24/7 work rotations for a team
ITIL Foundation or Certification a Plus

Web Hosting Administrator Mandatory Skills

Skills Requirement: Web Hosting Skills Required
Experience administering and engineering any combination of the following. 
Websphere Application Server (WAS) 7.0/8.5 (required)
JBOSS EAP 6.x (required)
Apache HTTP Server 2.x (required)
Apache Tomcat (knowledge)
Microsoft IIS 7.0, 8.5 (knowledge)
Shell scripting or programming experience
Additional Skills
Experienced in data collection, analysis, and reporting
Proven debugging skills
Strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
Experienced in generating process flows and diagrams
Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Methodologies 
Knowledgeable in MS Excel, MS Word. MS Visio
Internet/Intranet skills in addition to other job related systems
Understanding of network communication between multiple networks
Ability to troubleshoot network communication issue between servers
Hiring Requirements/Qualifications
Bachelor or technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related discipline is required. 
Minimum of 5-7 years in a Middleware Engineer role.
Must be willing to work normal shift of 1pm MST - 10pm MST.
