Job description

  • Inspect the tops by checking for delam, cracking, bumps, blisters, mislay, and loose builddown.
  • Collaborates with Production Line in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.
  • Organize the skid area, sweep up all buttons, throw away miter pieces on the floor, and blow designated areas.
  • Perform 5S Checklist.
  • Lift, carry, and move countertops.
  • Inform alert line coordinator of hot tops/reruns and bad tops.
  • Report all problems to the supervisor before leaving.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Strong work ethic with a positive and dependable attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attendance and reliable work habits required.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by following all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility to work 5-6 days per week and more than 10 hours per day, as needed.
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment/post-offer drug screen, physical examination, and background check.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
While performing the duties of this job the team member is continuously standing and lifting countertops weighing up to 50 pounds for 8 to 11 hours per day while carrying out the duties of an End of Line Stacker. The team member will be subjected to continuous noise, excessive humidity, and extremely hot conditions without air conditioning. Seasonal changes in temperature and humidity will be experienced by team members. At all times, personal protection equipment, or PPE, must be worn.
