Senior Kubernetes / VKS Platform Engineer


Overview We are looking for a Senior Kubernetes Engineer with hands-on VMware vSphere Kubernetes Service (VKS) experience to support cloud-native workload platforms within VCF private cloud environments. You will provision and manage VKS clusters, enforce governance, and support AI/ML workload infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and manage VKS clusters across multiple VCF projects and namespaces
  • Configure RBAC, network policies (Antrea/CNI), storage, and cluster backup
  • Support GPU-enabled VKS clusters for AI/ML workloads where applicable
  • Integrate Kubernetes platform with Aria Automation self-service catalog
  • Enforce governance policies across distributed cluster fleets

Required Skills

  • 10+ years data center experience
  • VMware vSphere Kubernetes Service (VKS) or Tanzu Kubernetes hands-on experience
  • Kubernetes / K8s administration (CKA preferred)
  • VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environment experience
  • VMware certifications required

Bonus

  • NVIDIA GPU / vGPU cluster experience
  • VMware Private AI Foundation exposure
  • Helm, GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux)

Work Details
