Immersive Designer
The Opportunity:
Work with a team of artists, programmers, instructional designers, and game designers to envision, gather, reference, and create high-end visual graphics and user interfaces for use in various types of mobile applications, learning software, 3D simulations, games for training, and virtual environments,. Use digital technologies in the creation of visual effects through the design and processing of images, extraction, combination, and manipulation of elements, and conceptualization of projects. Leverage knowledge of other related disciplines. Create 2D art assets that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.

You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience with UI for games or training applications focused on environment technical art
  • 2+ years of experience with a broad spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, UX documentation, wireframing, rapid prototyping, interface design and high-fidelity mockups, and development of hand-off or implementation of UI assets
  • Experience creating photorealistic 3D environments
  • Experience using photogrammetry software
  • Ability to provide a demo reel or online portfolio
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with Game Engine using Unity, Unreal, or equivalent
  • Experience with Agile software development life cycles
  • Experience in UI with AR and VR applications
  • Experience with 3D modeling
  • Experience in production with graphics design or illustration
  • Ability to be a detail-oriented self-starter

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
