Job Summary:
Amatrol is expanding, and they are seeking a skilled VR and AR Applications Developer to join their Multimedia Development team. The role involves designing and developing high-quality VR simulators and AR applications to enhance technical education, while collaborating with graphic designers and optimizing code for performance.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop high-quality VR simulators and AR applications to meet user needs and project goals.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to craft a visually compelling user experience.
• Implement essential VR/AR features, including head and hand tracking, movement systems, and intuitive interfaces.
• Continuously optimize code for maximum performance and minimal processing loads.
• Integrate APIs and SDKs, ensuring smooth functionality across various platforms.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Programming, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Hands-on experience with VR headsets and Unity or similar development environments.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming, agile development methods, and multimedia editing tools.
• Proficiency in math, physics, and attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team and with external partners.
