Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Superintendent (Value Stream Leader) in Fort Worth, TX. The Superintendent (Value Stream Leader) provides comprehensive leadership for electrical production operations, managing multiple Electrical Foremen and their respective crews across concurrent manufacturing lines. The ideal candidate ensures all production cells operate safely, on schedule, and in strict accordance with the National Electrical Code, OSHA regulations, and project specifications.

Job Type: Permanent

Annual Salary: $95,000 to $115,000 Annually BOE

Licenses/Certifications Required:

  • Texas Journeyman Electrician License (TDLR)
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification
  • Valid Texas Driver's License
  • Texas Master Electrician License (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to multiple Electrical Foremen and their crews across concurrent product lines.
  • Plan and coordinate craft, equipment, and material allocation across product lines to meet schedule and budget commitments.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and schedules with Foremen to resolve layout, sequencing, and constructability issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections across all product lines to verify code compliance, workmanship quality, safety practices, and adherence to specifications.
  • Establish and enforce consistent standards, procedures, and best practices across all production cells and Foremen.
  • Lead the safety program by conducting audits, toolbox talks, and incident investigations while enforcing PPE use and safe work practices.
  • Coach, mentor, and evaluate the performance of Electrical Foremen, providing guidance on cell management and leadership development.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between production departments, owners, inspectors, and product line managers.
  • Review and approve cell labor hours, productivity reports, and product cost tracking to identify and address any cost overruns.
  • Support recruiting, interviewing, and hiring decisions for Foremen, Journeymen, and Apprentices in coordination with company management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of documented journey-level electrical construction experience.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a Foreman or comparable field leadership role overseeing multiple crews.
  • Advanced working knowledge of the current edition of the National Electrical Code (NEC) as adopted in Texas.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications, and project schedules across multiple projects.
  • Prior commercial or industrial electrical construction experience is required.
  • Proficiency with production management, scheduling, and reporting software/applications.
  • Experience with manpower planning, job costing, and productivity tracking across multiple project lines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage conflict resolution and vendor relationships.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and move about multiple active factory job sites.
  • Ability to climb and access ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts to inspect work at height.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Physical capacity for balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling to inspect electrical work.
  • Exposure to conditions typical of active factories including noise and moving equipment.
  • Willingness to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including arc-flash rated clothing.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $95,000 to $115,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
