Position: Vice President, Technology
Location: Onsite in Los Angeles (U.S.), up to 30% travel (open to candidates outside of SoCal, if they can come onsite 10 days per month)
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt
Compensation: $180,000–$250,000 Salary + Bonus (up to 30%)

Overview
Our client is seeking a strategic, results-driven Vice President of Technology to oversee enterprise IT, data, software engineering, infrastructure, and security. This leader will craft the technology vision, upgrade legacy systems, enhance data and AI functions, and build secure, scalable platforms to fuel growth, streamline operations, and elevate customer experiences.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in healthcare provider services, DME/HME, or other regulated clinical settings.
  • REQUIRED--Hands-on experience with Snowflake
  • Knowledge of telephony systems, customer experience tools, and AI integration.
  • Demonstrated leadership in technology, data, and engineering within complex, regulated sectors.
  • Success guiding major data platform overhauls and cloud transitions.
  • Expertise in data governance, analytics, and enterprise architecture.
  • Strong skills in software engineering, automation, and API-driven connectivity.
  • In-depth understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Ability to assemble and lead high-performing, scalable tech teams.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Data, Analytics & AI

  • Direct the shift from siloed data environments to a unified Snowflake platform.
  • Manage data ingestion, transformation, governance, and quality for operational, financial, and clinical areas.
  • Create and sustain a premium "Gold Layer" for analytics, AI, and business intelligence.
  • Implement standardized reporting and robust data governance practices.

Technology Strategy & Execution

  • Develop a comprehensive multi-year roadmap spanning data, apps, infrastructure, and security.
  • Focus investments on high-impact projects using outcome-focused metrics.
  • Operate IT as a rigorous, data-informed function.

Engineering, Automation & Platforms

  • Guide software development with pro-code and low-code approaches.
  • Promote automation and API-centric designs for key business processes.
  • Ensure seamless integrations and platform scalability to meet long-term objectives.

Cloud Infrastructure & Cybersecurity

  • Transition to cloud-first hosting and networking models.
  • Lead migrations from outdated on-premises systems to resilient cloud setups.
  • Champion cybersecurity, HIPAA compliance, threat monitoring, and third-party risk controls.
  • Cultivate a security-conscious mindset across the organization.

Organizational Leadership

  • Grow teams in infrastructure, applications, and data domains.
  • Mentor director-level talent and promote leadership succession.
  • Counsel executives on tech-related risks and opportunities.
