The ideal candidate brings deep agency new business experience and a confident, collaborative leadership style. You’re a strong writer, with a background in journalism, account management or creative work, and can think both strategically and with precision. Comfortable partnering with agency leadership, you lead pitch teams with clarity and credibility while building relationships with senior-level prospects. Curious and hands-on, you’re always exploring new approaches, sharpening what works, and elevating how the agency shows up in the market.   • Manage day-to-day operations of the New Business Center of Excellence, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across pursuits. 
  • Help lead the pitch process and guide teams on how we best represent the agency and our ideas. 
  • Create and manage RFP responses, targeted capabilities of presentations, and additional required review materials. 
  • Partner with the CGO and Executive Sponsors (including new CCO) to support win strategies and execute through scoping and onboarding. 
  • Develop deep understanding of prospective brands and support engagement with client prospects, procurement teams, and search consultants. 
  • Support new business presentations and assist in evaluating inbound and outbound opportunities. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen agency marketing efforts and generate new business opportunities. 
  • Attend networking and industry events as needed to support relationship-building and prospect development. 
  • Apply emerging AI tools within new business workflows to improve efficiency, automation, and process effectiveness. 

  • Brings a strong, credible point of view on selling integrated and agency offerings from Creative and Social to Media and Design, tailoring solutions to client needs 
  • Exceptional communicator across formats, clear, compelling, and persuasive in presentations, writing, and executive conversations 
  • Leads with ownership and accountability, focused on driving outcomes and closing with confidence 
  • Models the agency’s core values (passion, partnership, courage, and integrity) in both leadership and client engagement

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field 
  • 8+ years of agency experience in business development or client service roles 
  • Experience working at creatively respected, award-winning agencies, with a strong understanding of what differentiates breakthrough work in the market 
  • Proven track record leading strategic growth initiatives from shaping opportunity pipelines to crafting standout narratives that win new business and elevate brand reputation 
  • Highly skilled in developing and delivering persuasive pitch materials, translating complex thinking into clear, compelling stories that resonate with senior clients and decision makers 
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed 

 
At the time of posting, the base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $160,000. Compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
