VP Strategic Accounts – Data CentersJob Summary

The Vice President of Strategic Accounts – Data Centers is a senior leadership role responsible for driving growth, innovation, and customer satisfaction within the data center sector. This individual will manage key global accounts, lead cross-functional teams to deliver tailored supply chain and packaging solutions within the data center sector, and align the company’s capabilities with the evolving needs of hyperscale and enterprise data center clients.

Key responsibilities:
  • Strategic Account Leadership
    • Own executive relationships with major data center customers (hyperscalers, colocation providers, cloud service companies).
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for C-level executives within strategic accounts.
    • Build and execute account growth strategies aligned with long‑term client goals.
  • Supply Chain Optimization
    • Collaborate with operations and logistics to deliver agile, scalable, and sustainable supply chain solutions.
    • Drive efficiencies across warehousing, fulfillment, and last‑mile delivery tailored to data center deployment schedules.
  • Lead the development of high‑performance, sustainable packaging solutions for critical IT infrastructure, server components, and related equipment.
  • Partner with R&D and engineering to co‑develop custom solutions that improve protection, reduce cost, and meet ESG goals.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
    • Align product development, procurement, and manufacturing with client requirements and project timelines.
    • Coordinate with finance and legal teams to ensure profitable and compliant business practices.
  • Business Growth & P&L Ownership
    • Own revenue and profitability targets for the strategic accounts portfolio.
    • Identify new opportunities for expansion, service offerings, or geographic growth.
  • Monitor trends in the data center sector including cloud computing, AI infrastructure, and sustainability.
  • Provide insights to inform the company’s long‑term strategy and investment decisions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or Engineering
  • 10 years’ experience in supply chain management across procurement, logistics (warehousing and transportation), systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, OM, LM) & related processes
  • 10 years of experience working with and leading and managing cross‑functional teams in matrixed global organizations
  • 5 years’ experience and proven subject matter expertise in end-to-end datacenter infrastructure supply chain (design to deployment) and related operations and global cloud supply chain experience across hyperscalers and colos
  • 5 years’ hands‑on operational / on‑the‑ground experience in forward and reverse global logistics of cloud infrastructure deployment
  • 2 years’ experience leading and managing go‑to market strategy, product roadmaps, and sales
  • 1 year of experience developing, presenting and influencing C‑suite stakeholders with strategic initiatives
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence internally and externally
  • 50% domestic & international travel to customers and SPG sites
