Job description

Company: IRALOGIX, Inc.                                                       Position: Vice President of Sales

Location: Pittsburgh, PA/Hybrid                                               Job Type: Full Time/Exempt

Industry: Retirement Services/FinTech                                    Software Travel: 25%-45%

IRALOGIX is a modern financial technology company transforming the $17 trillion IRA market with cloud-based, fully digital IRA solutions for America’s financial institutions. By modernizing how IRA accounts are managed and delivered, we expand access to retirement saving while helping our client-partners grow and compete. At IRALOGIX, we’re proud that our employees are part of a collaborative, fast-growing organization where ideas are valued and ownership is encouraged. We invest in sophisticated, next-gen technology, clear processes, and strong partnerships so our teams can do their best work and see the real-world impact of what they create. And we’re committed to building a workplace that supports learning, innovation, and long-term career development, allowing employees to grow alongside the company.

This is a producing, quota-carrying individual contributor role. The Vice President of Sales personally owns and closes a book of business with financial institution partners; this position has no direct reports and is not a people-management role.

Role

As the Vice President of SALES, you will be a quota-carrying individual producer personally responsible for sourcing, developing, and closing IRALOGIX’s most strategic deals with financial institution partners. This is a hands-on sales production role. The Vice President title reflects the seniority, deal complexity, and market positioning of the work, not organizational management scope. You will run the full sales cycle yourself, from prospecting through close, own an individual quota at the top of the sales organization, and serve as a peer and role model alongside IRALOGIX’s other producing sales executives. You will report to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and work closely with Product, Marketing, Client Success, Legal, and Finance to bring major deals across the finish line.

Responsibilities

Individual Sales Production & Quota Ownership

  • Personally own and exceed the largest individual sales quota carried on the sales team, reflecting the seniority and strategic weight of this position
  • Build and manage your own high-value pipeline: personally source new leads, qualify opportunities, and run every stage of complex, multi-stakeholder deals through to close
  • Prioritize and win IRALOGIX’s largest, most strategic, and most complex opportunities, flagship accounts, competitive takeaways, and multi-product deals
  • Conduct executive-level product demonstrations, ROI analysis, and business case presentations tailored to senior financial institution buyers
  • Forecast your own pipeline and sales performance accurately, tracking deal metrics and providing regular updates to the CRO

Strategic Relationship & Executive Engagement

  • Navigate complex decision-making structures to build trusted, C-level relationships at target financial institutions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle, from initial engagement through contract execution
  • Build long-term relationships with key accounts to support future expansion, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities
  • Represent IRALOGIX at industry conferences, partner events, and speaking engagements to generate pipeline and build brand presence in the retirement services market

Sales Leadership by Example

  • Serve as a top individual producer whose results and deal execution set the standard for the sales organization
  • Share deal strategy, competitive positioning, and best practices informally with fellow producing Account Executives (peer-to-peer, not managerial)
  • Partner with the CRO on refining sales process, messaging, and competitive playbooks, informed directly by your own selling experience
  • Provide input on the largest/most complex deals across the team when asked, without taking ownership or credit for a deal that is not your own

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product, Marketing, and Client Success to tailor value propositions and solutions for financial institution clients
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations on CRM hygiene, pipeline accuracy, and reporting for your own book of business
  • Work with Legal and Finance to structure and close complex, high-value contracts

Desired Skills and Experience

The essential skills and experience for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Proven track record as a top-performing, quota-carrying individual producer, not a sales manager or director whose numbers reflect a team’s output
  • Experience selling SaaS or technology solutions into financial institutions or other regulated, complex buying organizations
  • Experience in a SaaS, fintech, early-growth stage or start-up environment
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to personally engage C-suite stakeholders at financial institution partners
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with deal values of $100K+ ARR
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM analytics and pipeline management tools to manage your own book of business

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of progressive, individually quota-carrying sales experience, with a demonstrated history of personally meeting or exceeding multi-million-dollar sales quotas
  • Direct, hands-on experience owning and closing large, complex deals, this role does not carry people-management responsibility
  • Strong experience selling Retirement, Financial, or Technology solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or otherwise eligible to work in the US permanently
