Job Description

The Senior Vice President (SVP) is responsible for maintaining the overall health of the assigned platform. This includes managing the financial performance, employee culture and operations within the platform. The SVP will coordinate amongst Platform players, representatives from Central Operations, carriers, and vendor partners to achieve company-set targets, objectives and growth. The SVP will report to the Trucordia Chief Operating Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Central Operations to set and manage the P&L for the Platform.
  • Ensure growth objectives are met consistently by creating and maintaining a strong growth and sales culture.
  • Design and implement sales KPIโ€™s and monitor for progress and possible course-correction.
  • Work to recruit effective Producers within the Platform. Ensure best-practices and adoption of Salesforce capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Central Operations including the Executive team, Accounting, Finance, IT, Marketing, Carrier Relations, and other departments to execute strategic initiatives.
  • Manage the People within the Platform through hiring efforts and recruiting, overseeing training and development, managing performance, maximizing productivity, and owning the compensation parameters.
  • Provide input on the design of Trucordia best practices and SOPโ€™s, and implement them within the Platform.
  • Work with the Carrier Relations and Operations team to create, implement and monitor broking and carrier management strategies. Continuously examine the market for additional Carrier opportunities. Monitor efforts to maximize contingencies.Collaborate with Marketing on employee and client communications. Identify and participate in any local marketing events, association meetings, industry meetings, charity events, etc. Migrate each individual office within the Platform to Trucordia branding fully.
  • Implement best practice operations to minimize and prevent E&O claims.
  • Create and implement strategic initiatives to acquire target and desirable firms in order to expand Trucordia and Platform footprint.
  • Adhere to financial, accounting and commission reconciliation schedules into Central Finance function.
Qualifications
  • 10+ yearsโ€™ experience in senior or executive leadership with an insurance brokerage environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute strategic financial, sales and operational initiatives.
  • Significant background in creating, building and developing goal-achieving teams.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Insurance or similar area of study. MBA or Advanced Degree preferred.
