Regional Vice President (RVP)
Position Summary
The Regional Vice President (RVP) leads and scales a portfolio of residential HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical service businesses within an assigned geographic region. This executive leader has full accountability for regional financial performance, operational excellence, customer experience, and talent development across multiple branch locations.
The RVP serves as the strategic leader for branch General Managers and branch leadership while acting as the primary liaison between the Branch Service Center and field operations. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, EBITDA expansion, market share gains, operational consistency, and successful integration of acquisitions while preserving the desired culture of NearU and the local branches.
The ideal candidate is a proven operator with significant multi-location leadership experience in the home services industry and a demonstrated ability to grow businesses through disciplined execution, people development, and data-driven decision making.
Reporting Relationship
Reports to: Senior Vice President - Operations
Key Responsibilities
Regional P&L Leadership
  • Own and drive financial performance across multiple branch locations.
  • Lead revenue growth, profitability, EBITDA improvement, and cash flow performance.
  • Manage a regional portfolio exceeding $50M+ in annual revenue.
  • Develop and execute annual operating plans, budgets, and growth initiatives.
  • Monitor KPIs and hold branch leadership accountable for results.

Operational and Sales Excellence
  • Establish and drive consistent operating standards across all branches.
  • Improve technician productivity, installation performance, maintenance agreement growth, customer retention, and service profitability.
  • Implement best practices, standard operating procedures, and scalable systems that drive top and bottom-line growth.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and execute corrective action plans.
  • Lead change management initiatives that improve organizational performance.

Leadership & Talent Development
  • Recruit, coach, and develop General Managers and branch leaders.
  • Build succession plans and leadership pipelines throughout the region.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
  • Conduct performance reviews and support compensation planning processes.
  • Promote NearU's people-centric culture and core values.

Growth & Market Expansion
  • Partner with executive leadership to execute organic growth strategies.
  • Support acquisition due diligence, onboarding, and post-acquisition integration.
  • Drive market share expansion through superior customer experience and operational execution.
  • Strengthen relationships with OEM partners, distributors, and industry organizations.
  • Represent NearU as a visible leader within the home services industry.

Customer Experience & Quality
  • Champion customer-first decision making across all branches.
  • Ensure service quality standards are consistently achieved.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, online reputation, and retention metrics.
  • Implement initiatives that improve customer lifetime value and referral growth.

Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain licensing, safety, and operational standards across the region.
  • Partner with HR, Legal, and Safety teams to mitigate organizational risk.

Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience preferably within residential HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or a related home services business.
  • 5+ years of direct P&L ownership or significant multi-unit financial accountability.
  • Demonstrated experience managing in excess of $50M in annual revenue, with preference up to $250M+.
  • Direct ownership of multi-site P&L performance with accountability for revenue growth, EBITDA expansion, and operational execution.
  • Experience leading and developing multiple General Managers and branch leaders.
  • Proven track record of integrating acquisitions and driving post-acquisition performance improvements.
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, KPI management, and EBITDA optimization.
  • Ability to influence organizational change and drive accountability across geographically dispersed teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50-70% throughout the assigned region.

The successful candidate will bring executive-level operational leadership experience within a multi-location residential services organization and a demonstrated track record of scaling performance across large geographic territories.
