Position Summary

The Vice President of Sales is key executive responsible for developing and executing Eiko's sales strategy to drive profitable growth across all channels and regions. This individual will lead a team of Regional, Agency Representatives and Territory Managers, strengthen relationships with electrical distributors and contractors, and ensure Eiko continues to be a preferred lighting partner across North America.

This role requires a strategic and hands-on sales leader who can translate market opportunities into actionable business plans, mentor a high-performing team, and align sales execution with Eiko's overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and implement national sales strategies that deliver consisten revenue growth across all channels and regions.
  • Set annual sales goals, budgets, and KPIs aligned with Eiko's strategic plan.
  • Analyze market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales objectives with marketing, product management, and operations.

Team Development & Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales organization, including Regional and Territory Managers
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continous improvement
  • Provide regular training, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure professional growth and goal attainment.

Customer & Channel Management

  • Strengthen and expand relationships with key distributor networks, national accounts, and contractors.
  • Champion Eiko's value proposition to ensure alignment with customer needs and industry trends.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, major account planning, and long-term business development initiatives.

Operational Excellence

  • Monitor and report on sales performance, forecasting accuracy, and profitability by region and product line.
  • Partner with marketing to drive demand generation, product launches, and trade show engagement.
  • Ensure sales processes, CRM usage, and customer data management support scalability and efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in the electrical, lighting, or related industrial sectors; prior experience managing multi-region or national sales teams required.
  • Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to translate corporate goals into effective sales strategies and measurable outcomes.
  • Channel Expertise: Strong understanding of electrical distribution networks, MRO/TI markets, and contractor sales.
