About the Opportunity

The VP, Private Banking Relationship Manager is responsible for developing, growing, and deepening consumer and business relationships while delivering an exceptional client experience.
This role serves as a trusted banking partner for executives, entrepreneurs, professionals, business owners, and strategic relationships. The Private Banker is expected to generate measurable growth by identifying opportunities, solving problems, and connecting clients with the right financial solutions.
Success requires a combination of sales discipline, exceptional service, curiosity, and the ability to find solutions when the answer is not obvious.
Position Details
• Location: Northern Virginia - this is an in-office, client-facing role serving the Northern Virginia market
• Classification: Full-time, officer-level (VP)
• Licensing: NMLS registration required (may be obtained upon hire)
Requirements
Relationship Growth & Business Development
• Develop new client relationships through proactive outreach, networking, referrals, and community involvement.
• Build relationships with centers of influence, including attorneys, accountants, real estate professionals, entrepreneurs, and business leaders.
• Represent New Horizon Bank at community and business events.
• Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and relationship opportunities.
• Execute a disciplined calling strategy.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships.
Private Banking & Client Experience
• Serve as the relationship manager for assigned high-value clients.
• Support important relationships generated through executive leadership, commercial banking, and market development.
• Deliver premier service with exceptional responsiveness and ownership.
• Anticipate client needs and create solutions.
• Coordinate resources across the organization to provide a seamless client experience.
• Ensure clients feel known, valued, and supported.
Production Expectations
Performance will be measured through:
• New deposit production.
• Deposit portfolio growth.
• New consumer and business relationships.
• HELOC production.
• Mortgage referrals.
• Commercial loan referrals.
• Treasury management referrals.

• Comfort operating in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment.
• Active NMLS registration required, or the ability to obtain NMLS registration upon hire, in accordance with the SAFE Act. Must be registered within 60 days of employment
