POSITION SUMMARY:

The Vice President of Manufacturing - Industrial Business will oversee all manufacturing operations within the industrial oils business, ensuring efficiency, safety, quality, and continuous improvement. This role requires a strategic leader who can align manufacturing processes with the company's goals, drive operational excellence, and foster a culture of safety and productivity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement the manufacturing strategy to support overall business objectives.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align manufacturing initiatives with company goals.

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production processes.

  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and reduce waste.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Lead initiatives to maintain and improve product quality and consistency.

  • Champion a culture of safety across all manufacturing sites, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Develop and enforce safety protocols to minimize risks and promote a safe working environment.

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing manufacturing team.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.

  • Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, with a strong background in the chemical industry.

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, demonstrating a track record of operational excellence and team leadership.

  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
