Job description

Work Model: Work Model: You'll work in a hybrid model, onsite at your designated Regal Rexnord location at least 3 days per week (Monday-Thursday), with flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days, including Friday.

Reporting to the EVP and President of Industrial Powertrain Solutions (IPS) and the SVP Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS) for Regal Rexnord, this VP RBS for IPS will be an experienced senior leader responsible for advancing RBS as the disciplined, enterprise-wide operating system for the Segment. This means integrating Regal Rexnord Values, 80/20 growth logic, continuous improvement, prioritization, execution, and performance management into how we lead, plan, operate, and measure results. RBS is a system, not a toolbox; it is how our processes and methodologies come together to create the heartbeat of the organization and enable consistent execution, effective problem solving, and sustainable performance improvement. This leader will drive strategy to execution through structured strategy deployment to achieve breakthrough results. This leader will partner with business leaders, ELT, Presidents, and VP/GMs to translate enterprise RBS strategy into actionable Segment plans, mature RBS as a common way of working, build capability across the organization, and drive measurable improvement in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth. The VP RBS for IPS will lead by example and demonstrate the company's core values.

The right candidate will drive a culture of Continuous Improvement while achieving year-over-year performance improvement. As a key member of the IPS Segment Leadership Team, this role will impact results and culture by establishing standards, institutionalizing management systems, driving strategy and transformation, and ensuring effective problem-solving skills and tool capability across the organization. This leader will serve as a senior thought partner to Segment and Division leadership, shaping the architecture of Continuous Improvement programs with specific focus on Operational Excellence, Product Excellence, and Commercial Excellence culture, processes, and tools.

This role will make an immediate impact by delivering meaningful and sustainable results through structured problem solving and system building; acting as a catalyst to improve organizational skill sets across manufacturing and non-manufacturing functions; building leadership capability through RBS talent development; and accelerating transformation progress in priority areas of the business.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Continuous Improvement, Effective Problem Solving, Strategy Deployment

  • Support the organization in achieving SQDCG and financial objectives through effective application of the Regal Rexnord Business System tools and methodologies to achieve continuous improvement.

  • Lead and drive Policy Deployment and CI Roadmaps for the Division. Skilled and experienced in decomposing a strategic vision into actionable strategies and tactics.

  • Coach, mentor, and train Regal Rexnord teammates on continuous improvement methods based on Subject Matter Expertise. Ability to both formally train and "stop and teach" while at Gemba.

  • Ability to lead and coach multiple projects and Kaizen events simultaneously though both a hands-on and influential approach.

  • Lead transformation in challenging areas by using business metrics, trend analysis, and RBS methods to focus resources on the highest-value priorities.

  • Apply structured problem solving to diagnose issues, identify root causes, prioritize opportunities, and translate improvement strategies into measurable actions.

P&L Leadership Business Partner

  • Ability to work as a member of the leadership team to develop and communicate a future vision for the business. Garner followership across the organization to progress the transformation to achieve the future state.

  • Create and deploy standard work across the segment.

  • Assess and optimize business system infrastructure, including strategic planning, strategy deployment, sales force productivity, and management systems that improve execution discipline.

  • Collaborate with Segment and Division leadership to identify and execute top-level improvement priorities that support scalable growth, top-quartile performance, and stakeholder expectations.

Talent Management

  • Identify, coach, and develop talent across the division to leverage RBS tools and methodologies to support their professional advancement and improve the business's operational performance.

  • Assess and calibrate the operational performance of the IPS RBS leaders and ensure strong selection of talent.

  • Serve as a senior leadership partner in culture and capability development by building business system and talent routines that sustain performance improvement.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field. Advanced degree such as MS Engineering or MBA preferred.

  • 15-20 years of progressive experience across Continuous Improvement, Operations, and General Management, including experience leading multi-site or enterprise-level transformation; 10+ years in senior leadership roles preferred

  • Proven successful applications of multiple CI tools: 80/20, Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Lean Conversion, Standard Work, Visual Daily Management, Kanban/Replenishment systems, FMEA, Advanced Problem Solving

  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate Kaizen-type events to produce measurable improvements (financial, service, quality, etc.)

  • Business strategy planning/development and strategy deployment experience at senior leadership levels.

  • Lean transformation rollout experience across multiple businesses within a global platform.

  • Critical thinking skills to properly identify problem area & potential solutions

  • Analytical skills to properly interpret data

  • Leadership skills to develop and mentor cross functional teams for Continuous Improvement journey

  • Financial and Operational solid experience to support demand/supply pipeline

  • Strategy/Policy Deployment and strategic planning experience

  • Flexibility for traveling 50%+ of the time

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence, teach, and build followership across functions and levels.
