Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a SVP, HCM Enterprise Applications Lead for a hybrid direct hire position with a Major Financial Services Firm located in New York, NY.

The Corporate technology group is seeking a highly skilled HRIT leader to serve as the primary solutioning partner for global HR stakeholders and the head of our Product Owner team working within an Enterprise Applications team within technology. This position will lead the company's Human Resources Information Systems function and team and develops the strategic direction and design of its HRIS practices and technology. This role will be the strategic bridge between HR, IT, and the business, driving technology-enabled solutions that deliver measurable business value. This role will work directly with senior HR executives to translate business needs into system strategies, shape policy through technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HRIT solutioning partner for global HR stakeholders in tandem with the Product Owners managing demand responsible for reframing requests into business problems and proposing effective, technology-enabled solutions
  • Partner closely with Module Owners, System Architecture, and Project Management teams to deliver cohesive, cross-functional solutions in an Oracle HCM environment
  • Extensive experience in at least 4 modules among Oracle HCM Core HR, Oracle HCM Compensation, Oracle HCM Benefits, Oracle HCM Recruiting and ADP Payroll integrations and ADP GL support
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders to understand business evolution and design the HR IT solutions roadmap
  • Leading and governing the portfolio of IT solutions including Oracle HCM / PeopleSoft HCM under your responsibility to ensure functional and technical evolution of these solutions as well as compliance to company guidelines
  • Set up specific objective, supervise operational metrics of usage and availability to initiate actions to improve solution adoption
  • Leading a diverse and distributed team of managers and subject matter specialists, finding ways to optimize project approach and execution methodologies, improving team collaboration
  • Manage AMS (Oracle CSS support delivery teams) in developing technical TDD specifications from the functional requirements for fulfillment
  • In charge of the communication, regularly reporting progress to partners and ensuring that related documents are complete and up to date
  • Initiate and drive IT projects within agreed scope, timing, budget, and resources
  • Develop, execute and lead a comprehensive best-in-class North American HRIS strategy aligned with the company's business and human resources objectives that encompasses the nuances from both Canada and the USA
  • Oversee the shared service team and work with IT to ensure service levels are met
  • Together with IT leadership, manage HR technology vendor relationships, ensuring vendor commitments are met
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into effective database designs, data models and data flows

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 8-10 years IT experience and at least five years working in HRIS in a large, complex, multinational organization with Oracle HCM Cloud, OCI components both functionally and technically
  • At least five (5) years of experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion (SaaS) Core HCM solutions – preferably end to end solutions
  • Experience integrating Oracle's Core HCM solutions with third party best in class solutions, master data management solutions, business analytics solutions
  • Extensive knowledge of HRIS technology and practices, understanding what best-in-class is, and how to evaluate and implement the best technology and practices based on organizational needs and capabilities
  • Outspoken team leader able to bring the best out of team members coupled with a creative thinking
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex, large-scale HR systems, and leading large-scale projects
  • Experience communicating technical information to non-subject matter experts in an easily understandable way
  • Experience in leading and delivering large and sophisticated HR IT solutions and programs cutting across different domains (HR Core, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent, Performance and Learning Management, Payroll & Time)
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • An ability to understand front-end users' requirements and a problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

Pay rate: $240K a year.
