A key partner in our organization, the Controller/VP of Finance oversees all aspects of financial management and provides balance to the partnership formed with the marketing and operational pieces of our business. The target compensation for this position is $70000 annually, which is based on an hourly rate of $33.66, for a 40-hour workweek (Monday - Friday)

Responsibilities

Starting as a Staff Accountant, you will be exposed to basic accounting procedures and principles ranging from accounts payable and receivable systems to financial statement, preparation, and analysis.

  • Prepare financial statements
  • Perform branch audit evaluations
  • Assemble bank reconciliation and account schedules
  • Prepare journal entries, expense accruals and allocations
  • Execute accounts payables and receivables
  • Participate in a timely and accurate month-end closing process
  • Assist branch personnel with questions regarding accounting policies and procedures
  • Analyze income statement fluctuations for assigned branches
  • Provide process improvement and cost saving ideas
  • May be responsible for T&E reports, coding, account classification and reimbursement amounts
  • May be responsible for preparation of sales and other tax returns
  • Prepare journal entries, expense accruals and allocations
