Job description

Overview

We are seeking an Executive Vice President, Content Partnerships (EVP) to lead and scale our Content Practice across the agency. This role is responsible for defining the vision, commercial model, and long-term growth strategy for content as a core driver of business outcomes. The EVP role owns the offerings across our full client roster, manages its P&L, and is accountable for growing the business, both inside existing accounts and through new business wins. As the senior content leader, the EVP will own the full P&L, shape the evolution of our offerings, and ensure content is fully integrated into client business strategies—not treated as a standalone capability. This role serves as the primary content voice with clients, across Publicis Media, and within the agency. The EVP, Content Partnerships reports to the Chief Investment Officer.

Responsibilities

Lead the Content Practice

  • Set the vision and direction for the Content Practice across all clients, spanning content strategy, integrated marketing, brand partnerships, influencer, and original IP.
  • Own and operate Content P&L accountability, including revenue growth, margin, staffing, and utilization.
  • Build and complete a multi-year roadmap that defines where the practice is going and how it will win in market.
  • Make clear investment decisions—where to double down, where to streamline, and where to build new capabilities.
  • Hire, develop, and retain top talent. Design and scale the content practice, including org structure, succession planning, and career pathways.
  • Ensure content is fully integrated across Collective and the broader Publicis ecosystem, operating seamlessly with Investment, Strategy, Analytics, Commerce, Cultural Convergence, Business Affairs, and partners including Apex and PMCI.

Drive Revenue & Growth

  • Deliver against annual revenue and growth targets, managing the practice with rigorous forecasting, pipeline rigor, and commercial accountability.
  • Unlock incremental growth within existing clients by elevating content as a strategic lever and expanding content-led solutions.
  • Build and sell new partnership and sponsorship franchises across the roster — original programming, sports and entertainment IP, talent deals, event properties — in close partnership with Apex and PMCI.
  • Play a critical role in new business—shaping pitch strategy, leading content narratives in RFPs, and positioning the practice as a key differentiator.
  • Define how content is packaged, sold, and priced to simplify adoption for clients and enable teams to sell with clarity and confidence.

Lead the Work & Thought Leadership

  • Serve as the agency’s senior voice on content across linear, streaming, social, digital, and what’s coming next.
  • Set a point of view on where and how our clients should show up in content, by category, channel, and cultural moment.
  • Act as a senior escalation point on complex, high-impact engagements.
  • Partner closely with Global Client Leads and senior client collaborators to embed content into broader marketing and business strategies, not just bolted onto their media plan.

Act as the Face of the Practice

  • Own the senior relationships across networks, platforms, leagues, IP holders, talent agencies, and producers. You should be one of the first calls when something new is being put together.
  • Represent the agency at upfronts, industry events, panels, and in the trade press.
  • Anticipate shifts in the content and partnership landscape—emerging formats, platforms, and deal structures—and translate them into actionable offerings.
  • Position the agency as a market leader in content and partnerships through thought leadership and external presence.
Qualifications
  • 18+ years of experience across content, integrated marketing, brand partnerships, or media. Time on both the agency side and the content/media-entity side is a plus.
  • Experience running a practice, P&L, and/or business unit. Real ownership of revenue, margin, and headcount.
  • A track record of building and selling content, sponsorship, and partnership programs at scale, with real relationships across networks, platforms, IP holders, and talent.
  • Commercial fluency: agency economics, pricing, staff planning, pipeline management, pitch leadership.
  • Senior client relationships that have lasted and generated business.
  • Ability to walk into a room of CMOs or industry peers and hold your own.
  • A reputation for hiring and developing strong talent.
  • Comfort and experience working in a matrixed holding-company environment
  • Ability to set direction without waiting for it.
