Job description

As a Vice President on our Prime Finance SBL team, you will be at the center of one of the most dynamic and fast-moving areas of the firm. You will support the daily coverage of the ETF stock borrow and loan activity while driving broader General Collateral (GC) financing strategy and balance sheet optimization. Job Responsibilities
  • ETF Stock Borrow/Loan Activity (SBL):
    • Support the daily coverage of the ETF book, managing stock borrow and loan activity including inventory management, recalls, buyins, settlement issues, availability, and pricing

    • Monitor and identify changes in utilization, short interest, corporate actions, create/redeem flow.
  • General Collateral
    • Optimize GC collateral borrow activity through strategic deployment of firm needs and counterparty management to ensure competitive financing economics
    • Analyze stock loan positions and financing activity to identify balance sheet optimization opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with Demand, Operations, Risk, and Capital Management teams to optimize the firm's financing resources
  • Deliver strong client and counterparty service while maintaining alignment with internal risk and regulatory frameworks
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Strong understanding of the stock loan market and Securities Borrowing & Lending (SBL) mechanics, including ETF borrow, create, and redeem dynamics
  • Demonstrated experience in financing economics and balance sheet optimization
  • Ability to manage day-to-day trading and operational responsibilities in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and drive data-informed decisions across financing activity
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Risk, Operations, and Capital Management stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage client and counterparty relationships effectively
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Prior experience at Associate/VP level within equity finance, prime brokerage, or a related securities lending function
  • Familiarity with regulatory capital frameworks and their application to financing optimization
  • Experience working with large data sets to support reporting and strategic decision-making
  • Series 7 and Series 63 Licensing Preferred
