ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
*This is an individual contributor role focused on GSTV's Automotive category.
Summary:
The Account Executive role is a revenue generating position. Efforts in this position will be focused on generating new business in an assigned category or within a territory, with a particular focus on automotive dealerships and dealer groups, including large multi-location and multi-state ownership groups. This inside sales position will be calling clients and agencies remotely and may include minimal travel. For out of market positions, focus will be on face-to-face meetings within territory with key clients, dealer groups and agencies. This position will initially focus on small to mid-size agencies and clients.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Manage all aspects of the sales function including development of new and incremental business by prospecting new clients & agencies, including automotive dealerships and dealer groups, determine needs, proposing appropriate programs directly to them and closing the business.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and agencies, including dealer principals, dealer group leadership, dealership marketing leaders and the agencies and partners that support their advertising and marketing efforts.
• Identify and prospect high-potential automotive dealer groups and ownership organizations, with the ability to grow relationships across multiple dealership locations within an ownership group.
• Maintain your own pipeline through CRM system and keep all forecasts up to date.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
• Work as part of the team and maintain the teamwork culture at GSTV by helping and sharing with co-workers.
• Make independent decisions as it relates to programs offered and rates within GSTV guidelines in order to close business.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:
• Successful track record of selling media, advertising, digital marketing, marketplace or lead-generation solutions directly to automotive dealerships and dealer groups is strongly preferred.
• Successful track record of working with agencies and/or automotive retail clients, with an understanding of how dealerships and dealer groups buy and evaluate media and marketing solutions.
• Ability to self-generate leads.
• Success in qualifying, prospecting and closing via the phone & email.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-growing, rapidly changing entrepreneurial environment.
• Ability to think and plan strategically.
• Good interpersonal skills, phone communication skills & email skills

Preferred qualifications include:
• Existing relationships with automotive dealer principals, dealer ownership groups, dealership marketing leaders and/or automotive retail agencies in the category/territory. Experience with large regional or multi-state dealer groups is strongly preferred.
Education and/or Experience:
BA/BS degree from a leading U.S. or International University in related field, as well as 2+ years of advertising sales experience within digital, OOH, TV, cable or radio related experience. Experience selling to automotive dealerships or dealer groups, including experience with automotive marketplaces, dealer-focused media, digital marketing or technology platforms, is strongly preferred.

The expected salary range for this position is based on a combination of experience and qualifications for the position, as well as geographic location to align with local market.

The pay range for this role is:
