Job description

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Associate Vice President of CORE5 (centralized operations) is responsible for the leadership, growth, adoption, and continued evolution of Avenue5's centralized operations platform. This position provides strategic leadership to the CORE5 management team, oversees the managers responsible for centralized operations specialists, and ensures consistent service delivery, operational partnership, and program performance as CORE5 continues to scale.

The Associate Vice President serves as a key champion and subject matter expert for CORE5, partnering closely with operational leaders and clients to understand property needs, strengthen the platform, increase adoption, and identify opportunities for continued improvement. This position leads CORE5 conversations internally and externally and equips operational leaders with the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively position and market CORE5.

Primary Responsibilities and Objectives:

·         Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and development to CORE5 managers and ensure strong leadership of centralized operations specialists

·         Champion CORE5 throughout Avenue5 and develop strategies to increase awareness, confidence, adoption, and utilization of the program

·         Train and equip operational leaders to confidently explain, position, and market CORE5 to existing and prospective clients

·         Travel to regional and client locations to educate teams on CORE5, build understanding of the program, strengthen engagement and support increased adoption.

·         Serve as a CORE5 subject matter expert for clients, prospective clients, operators, and internal stakeholders

·         Participate in client pitches, business development opportunities, property transitions, and other conversations where CORE5 may provide value

·         Develop and provide operators with client facing information, messaging, presentations, and resources that clearly communicate the CORE5 value proposition and capabilities

·         Build strong partnerships with regional and executive operational leaders and ensure CORE5 remains responsive to property and client needs

·         Identify opportunities to enhance CORE5 processes, workflows, technology, service delivery, and the overall operator and client experience

·         Support the development and implementation of new centralized services and capabilities as the platform evolves

·         Develop and execute strategies to drive CORE5 adoption across Avenue5’s existing portfolio and support CORE5 positioning in new business opportunities.

·         Monitor growth, staffing, workloads, service levels, and operational performance to ensure CORE5 can scale effectively while maintaining service standards

·         Establish and monitor key performance indicators that measure service delivery, efficiency, quality, adoption, and operational impact

·         Ensure CORE5 is positioned as an operational partner and resource that creates efficiencies, strengthens consistency, and supports onsite teams

·         Perform other tasks as assigned

Education and Experience:

·         Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, operations, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered

·         Seven or more years of progressive multifamily property management, centralized operations, or related operational leadership experience is preferred

·         Demonstrated experience leading managers and developing high-performing teams is required

·         Strong knowledge of multifamily property operations and resident lifecycle activities is required

·         Experience implementing centralized, shared-service, or large-scale operational programs is preferred

·         Experience presenting to clients, senior leaders, and operational teams is required

·         Prior experience in Yardi Voyager or another equivalent system is preferred

Skills and Requirements:

·         Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and build credibility across multiple levels of an organization

·         Strategic thinker with the ability to translate ideas and feedback into scalable operational solutions

·         Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others

·         Ability to travel as necessary for client meetings, property visits, presentations, training, and CORE5 initiatives

·         Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing and Preventing Discrimination and Harassment training and other courses if assigned

Scheduling:

·         Required to maintain a regular schedule which may require working outside of business hours, weekends, and non-traditional holidays

·         Ability to travel (50%)

·         Exposure to an environment typically found in an office building
