Position Overview
The Field Installation Manager oversees daily field operations, supports installation and service technicians, coordinates scheduling, prepares service estimates, sources materials, and ensures projects are completed safely, on time, and to company quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Oversee 10-20 active commercial service jobs daily
Troubleshoot field issues independently and provide remote technical support
Prepare service estimates and scope commercial projects
Coordinate schedules for installation and service crews
Source parts, equipment, and materials for repairs and installations
Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams
Ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope
Support compliance with ADA, fire code, and industry safety standards
Partner with leadership during a structured six-month training period

Requirements

Commercial Door Experience (Hands-On) REQUIRED
Commercial Industry Experience (Not Residential) REQUIRED
Service, Repair & Troubleshooting Experience REQUIRED
Ability to Independently Diagnose Field Issues REQUIRED
Minimum 5 Years Relevant Experience REQUIRED
Experience with Multiple Commercial Door Systems REQUIRED
Automatic Doors (SIG or Similar) Experience REQUIRED
Storefront Door Experience REQUIRED
Hollow Metal Door Experience REQUIRED
Overhead Door Experience REQUIRED
Gate & Gate Operator Experience REQUIRED
Dock Equipment Experience REQUIRED
Experience Running Estimates REQUIRED
Ability to Coordinate Multiple Service Jobs Simultaneously REQUIRED
Leadership or Crew Management Preferred
Experience with Vortex, Industrial Door Company, or R&S Doors Preferred
