As an LMFT at Valor Therapy Center, your primary focus will be on clients who struggle with various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of diverse groups, including individuals facing personal tragedies, homelessness, or trauma related to domestic abuse. Understanding each client's unique background and implementing tailored strategies will be paramount to fostering their well-being.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
  • Proficiency in building trust and rapport with clients through excellent communication skills and a strong sense of empathy.
  • A deep commitment to nonjudgmental care, helping clients feel understood and supported in their healing process.
  • Robust organizational and time management skills to navigate a personalized caseload and administrative tasks effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in conducting therapy for individuals with mood disorders and facilitating group therapy sessions.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Background in working with marginalized populations is a plus.
  • Active participation in continued education, workshops, and certifications relevant to mental health therapy.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary ranging between USD 70,000 and 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and generous paid time off.
  • Access to opportunities for continuing education and professional development, enhancing skills in various therapy approaches.
